Mama Marlene is also a skilled community midwife and has a deep understanding of women’s health, making her a valuable resource for her community.

As an elder of the indigenous Kichwa people, Mama Marlene strongly believes in the ancient wisdom and healing that comes from the use of ayahuasca in traditional ceremonies.
